This pleasant & friendly local free house on the A6 changed hands at the beginning of March 2024. Under this new management the three hand pumps now serve up to four regularly-changing guest beers often from local breweries alongside a range of beers, lagers, ciders etc. on keg fonts. The bar area is adjacent to two separate but linked areas creating a relaxing place to have a drink and a chat. Large screen TVs show all major football matches and many other TV sporting events. Thursday is Quiz night and there are frequent live music events.
