Taken over by real ale enthusiast Aaron Parkinson in January 2020, and recently refurbished, this large popular open-plan locals' pub was first licensed in 1860. Three changing beers from Glossop, Mossley, Greenfield and further afield are dispensed on handpumps. A function room is available for up to fifty people and live entertainment takes place on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
